We watched ...
Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
I fear You.
How will we answer to You on Qiyaamah?
When our Sisters and Mothers were raped, we watched.
When our Brothers were dragged to prison, we watched.
When our Elders were mutilated, we watched.
When the Mujahideen were tortured, we watched.
When Our Children were beheaded, we watched.
When Depleted uranium burned their insides, we watched.
When Pregnant bellies were slashed open, we watched.
When Babies were thrown to their deaths, we watched.
When his mother lay there bleeding and motionless, we watched.
When Children became insomniac because of atrocities their eyes witnessed, we watched.
When Grenades exploded in schoolyards, we watched.
When he witnessed the gang rape of his mother, we watched.
When Children became mutes because of the incomprehension of atrocities, we watched.
When the Infant was trampled on, in front of his screaming mother, we watched.
When Children stopped smiling, we watched.
When young Boys were forced to take up arms to defend their women folk, we watched.
When her Brother was used as a human shield, we watched.
When Muslim land was occupied and terrorised, we watched.
When She was raped at the age of four, we watched.
When her husband was beheaded and torched, we watched.
When we saw Mujahideen sacrificing their lives for Aakhirah, we watched.
When we were called to Jihaad, we watched.
O Allah, we watched and ignored.
We shed tears whilst they shed blood for You, O Allah!
Will You forgive us?
Will the beloved Messenger of Islam (Sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam) even glance at us, O Allah?
When the Ummah was humiliated, we watched and sat here complacently.
Yet we call ourselves Muslims.
And yet here we stand, and again we watch.
From one who claims to be Your slave.

The Sincere
Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
“All humans are dead except those who have knowledge;
and all those who have knowledge are asleep, except those who do good deeds;
and those who do good deeds are deceived, except those who are sincere;
and those who are sincere are always in a state of worry.”
[Imam Shafi'i (Rahmatullahi ‘alayh)]

Journey towards Allah
Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
“If you are on the way towards Allah, then RUN.
If that is difficult for you, then HASTEN to the best of your ability.
If you get tired, then WALK.
And if you cannot do that, then CRAWL, and NEVER STOP or go back”
[Imaam Shaafi (Rahmatullahi ‘alayh)]

From Allah Ta'ala's Side
Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
"Allah Ta'ala protects the one who fears Him,
Suffices for the one who places his trust in Him,
Gives more to the one who is grateful to Him,
and recompenses the one who gives in His Name."

No Goodness
Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
"There is no good in a people who do not advise;
And there is no good in a people who do not like those who advise."
