Silence
Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
"Silence
is a prayer, without labour;
Awe without
domination;
A Castle
without battlements;
Victory without
weapons;
Rest for the
Guardian Angels;
A Fortress for
the pious;
A
Characteristic of the humble;
The Rulers use
it to overawe their subjects;
It is a
treasure-house of Wisdom;
and it is the
only answer to the queries of the ignorant."

Caution for students of knowledge
Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
“Four things
shame the students of Ilm:
1.) Criticising
others,
2.) Praising
themselves,
3.) Not
teaching Ilm, and
4.) Not
practicing what they know.”
~ Hazrat Luqman
(Alaihis Salaam)

More beloved than his knowledge
Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
“We used to sometimes go to a Scholar, and what we
learnt of his
manners, was more beloved to us,
than the knowledge we took from him.”

remain unaware.”
